New Mexico to Oregon Day 11

Silver City Idaho. This is an 1860s gold mining town that eventually became the county seat, with 2500 or so population, then was abandoned and became a ghost town, and now is being recovered, mostly by descendants of the original residents. Worth visiting, despite the 50 or so miles of rough dirt road required to get there and back.
