More Blue poppies!!

Could not resist another shot of more flowers on the same plant blipped a few weeks ago on May 20th. I had a lovely stroll round my garden before work in the sunshine and this flower was illuminated by the early morning light. Well I thought it was early but the bees and butterflies and all the other insects were busy at work and had probably been there for a while!

The first flower was blown to pieces by the storm we had and so I am delighted to get another one and yet another in bud after such a while. The background colour comes from aubretia (seems to be a favourite of the bees) genista and sea pinks.

The sun is still shining 10 hours later so long may it last!
