Day 4 - Potes

Weather is indifferent, a bit chillier than we'd like, but hey it's mountains, so you have to take what's on offer. I really need to find out what altitude we are here - 800m? 1000m?

We visited the Picos de Europa Visitor Centre this morning, a beautiful building but like most visitor centres in my experience, it tries to recreate what's just outside, and not too successfully.

Potes is at the confluence of two rivers - this, I think, is the Deva. Drinks and patatas bravas in the early evening before returning to the campsite for our own chorizo stew.

(btw what's happened to the spelling checker? Maybe I changed my settings...)

Thanks for the comments the last few days, I'm afraid I'm not getting much chance to respond due to an iffy wifi connection, dwindling batteries and the rather cool afternoons. Bear with me, I'll get there.... :o)
