A Poppy

I made a 70 yard dash, wouldn't really call it a run, to get this photo.

I live in the middle of a building site at the moment. You can see the grains of dust on the poppy. I love the fact that the poppies are springing up even though all around them is changing.

The cause of the 'dash' rain, big brick crushers (have no idea what they are really called. It is a machine that has a conveyor belt on it. The brick comes out on the belt much smaller) and the fact that I had just spotted this one. I wanted to get it before it was picked.
