Blimp for Blip

My husband called me at work today to tell me a blimp would be passing by our building soon. He had just seen it pass by and it was heading our way.

Maybe 5 minutes after I got off the phone I looked out the window and there it was. All of us sitting around the window just gathered and watch the skilled pilot proceed to bring the blimp down to land at the nearby airport.

We kept trying to read the side of the blimp but it was visible by the naked eye, it wasn't until I snapped this photo and zoomed in did we see the name Haagar 1 Vodka. OKAY, now we're thinking well maybe the pilot wasn't too skilled afterall, maybe he had been tasting the product a little and that's why he seemed all over the place.....LOL. Kidding, it was fun to watch.

I did take a trip to the Ocmulgee River Walk Park today with a fellow photographer and was able to snap some nice shots. I'd like to get to the river walk during a more overcast cloudy day, even a day with some mist in the air, but doesn't look like we're getting a day like that anytime soon. Still hot and dry.
