On the Ball

Its the start of Gala week in Balmullo, ergo the rains will come and come they did this afternoon and early evening. Undeterred, young master Jake set off for the football qualifiers. Local teams from Cupar, St Andrews and Tayport were there to pit their skills against the Balmullo teams.

At around 7pm the skies cleared and I ventured out to the park to watch the boys in action. Balmullo won through and will pay the "Spurs" in a cliffhanger match this Saturday afternoon. I will be wearing my galoshes and mack on the day. Fingers crossed they do themselves proud.
