Boy on ferry

...heading to Ireland. Kids first time on a proper big old ferry complete with games room and arcade. Anna asked if it was a hotel. Fair to say they were very happy with this mode of transport.

A long journey to our holiday that was longer than necessary and at the time I felt like a broken woman. It seems extraordinary unlikely that we will ever do it again so I can safely look back on it with fond memories of a fun adventure that allowed us to see a lot of our country and not focus on the lower back pain.

So it is down in writing, Carl has agreed to fly next time.
