What lies within
My bee photography is definitely in need of improvement however i felt this one kind of summed up today as a whole..
Very early start this morning- school bus in, even though im finished school, crazy. Then had some breakfast in town with my friend savage and then did some serious shopping, where i got a beaut pair of heels for my ball on Saturday. I am so last minute, only got my dress yesterday too! Anyway nearly sorted now.
Then during my 45 minute wait for my bus home I met this woman- She seemed really, well for use of a better word- raj. She spoke really sharply to this group of guys with walking bags taking up the seats and sat next to me- here was me thinking ohhh dear i have 45 minutes of this to go. However she asked me what bus i was getting and we kind of got talking. Turns out this woman was on her second time battling cancer and had shattered her foot 4 weeks ago, was in a cast from her toe all the way up her knee and has 2 daughters and a grandson. Who obviously meant the world to her. She was amazing just because she didn't let the cancer beat her living her life, she said "cancer almost killed me the first time" just so casually- and was talking about how awful it was to see the children coping with cancer in the ward she was in- she was the last person on her mind. She had a terrible cough and was obviously struggling but didn't complain or let it show. Here was me stressing about what shoes I was going to buy for my ball about an hour earlier and this woman was coping better with her cancer. It kind of gave me a bit of a reality check and put life into perspective. I don't even know her name but she was such an inspiring lady and this blip is dedicated to her. And i will now have more patience for people that come across as sharp or moody, you never really know what lies within.
