Good Friday
It was a good Friday indeed - not only did I get to enjoy a nice afternoon out with Tia and my Mum, but these bad boys finally arrived at my parents house. Its only a few months until our pilgrimage to the Nürburgring to see Metallica and Rage against the machine, and frankly it can hardly wait. My over exuberance was driving Tia mad last night, god only knows how excited I will be when its only a few weeks away rather than a few months.
I'd promised myself that I would take my mum out today seeing as I was off, but quickly regretted mentioning I wanted to get my hands on large sheets of coloured card so I could make myself some nice photography backdrops. "Hobbycraft would sell that" she said, i.e. that shop I really want to go to. Despite my initial fear, I actually had a rather enjoyable time there, although I was horrified that 7 sheets of A1 card and a plastic folder left me with little change from a £20 note.
I now have some cool coloured backgrounds though, in candy apple red, dresden yellow, dark blue, gun metal grey, emerald green, jet black and ice white. I blame somone at work for putting the idea into my head.
Feeling rather shady this evening, so I think I'll have a nap so I can see the football tomorrow.
