Greens

A much-too-early start in order to do the second bird walk made the day seem very long; by the time I was on my way to the station at lunch time the early morning walk seemed like a distant memory. Spent the afternoon on the trains down to Milton Keynes (including the customary hour on Crewe station - is there anyone who can decipher what that young lady announcer is saying?) and after arriving in hotel room fell sound asleep during SpringWatch on the telly. I just managed to stay awake for the item on puffins, though. ;-)

This was a random field seen from the train - there were lots of them, all very green, but this was the least blurry. Probably somewhere in Cumbria.
