A Sad Day for our Police Force.

Today was the funeral of a young policeman killed during an armed robbery. He was shot in the head a week ago on Sunday, but they waited until his father and sister arrived from the UK, before they turned off his life-support machine last Wednesday.

He left behind a widow, Sonya also a police officer and two small children a boy, Hudson, nearly 2 and a 3 month old daughter, Grace.

This has hit us all hard, we're not used to this kind of thing. I suppose it's a sign of the times, but I hope not. They've already caught 3 of the gang, hopefully they will get the rest.

$300,000 has been raised so far for the family.
