Autotherapy to the rescue
Mmmmmmm.
Went over to Halifax today to collect a customers car, this car caused some problems on the M62 one day last week as it decided to work on its own fumes and increase speed to 115mph. The driver managed to get it on to the hard shoulder -with plumes of smoke behind her- and in doing so closed the M62 for a while, leaving the car dead...no engine or brakes.
If you are a radio 2 fan I would guess that Sally traffic will have reported the incident.
The customer, J. lives down a cart track -quite a long track- on a bit of a slope, as is the way in that area. When himself tried to winch the car on to the trailor, the winch didn't like it and almost snapped....scary yet comical moment leaving the car not quite in place.
Photo is of J and S having a bright moment thinking that they could counter balance a one and a half tonne car.
With some effort we did manage to push and shove the dead vehicle into place.
Customer J is now awaiting a huge estimate for the repair...
