Groody

I've had Groody living with me for over 33 years and the reason I am blipping him today is a follow on from finding out yesterday about the death of my dear friend , Kenny. You see, Kenny and I bought matching Groodies all those years ago in Aviemore when he was on a week's holiday up in Inverness with me. We had a great week and it's down to Kenny that I passed my driving test as all I did for days before my test was to drive Kenny all over the place.

i remember us taking photos of our Groodies up at the Cairngorm Chairlift car park and convincing an old Dutch tourist that they were real, rare South American monkeys who weren't moving much because they were hibernating. He even took photographs! I've always felt guilty but I hope he secretly understood our sense of humour.

I often wonder what happened to Kenny's Groody.

And why Groody? well, it's a Clockwork Orange reference is all I'll say.
