Bird Wars

I have been feeling poorly today so me and the girls had a lazy day and they looked after their poor old mum.

On my own for a few days now - they are off to grannys as they are still on half term and I am working. Really missing them tonight.

We did have a trip to buy bird food and Evie and I filled up the bird table. The blue tits were back but so was the Jackdaw and he was pecking and hanging on bits that he is really too big for.

My blip was him (or her) hanging for dear life on a small peanut feeder but the photo was taken through the window and didn't come out very well at all.

So instead I have recreated what has been happening when I spy on the bird table from my bedroom wondow at about 5.30 some mornings.

The birds are quite happily eating their breakkie while under the table is a very huge cat watching the birds (also waiting for his breakkie I believe)

Thank you to evie and jeanne who gifted me the cute blue tits from their holiday in Wales...and the rather scary pot cat that Evie brought home from the mill today - to join her ever growing band of tastless pot animals she seems intent on collecting!
