Locked in...

It's fun taking pictures of the cormorants; they fly into the lock to get some easy pickings, but when the gates shut behind them, they have to make quite a few attempts to fly out again. Plenty of splashing opportunities.

I am not going to tell you why I am not using my own camera; no-one would believe I could take an empty camera bag out with me. Or, maybe you could :/
