I've found your keys...
I didn't get out at lunchtime, so it's a work related blip today.
Eagle-eyed viewers will no doubt have spotted that these are keys from an open hole, English thumb-plate system oboe of late 1970s vintage (you hadn't spotted that? Oh, I'm surprised!). Modern oboes have even more keys, to help the player on tricky, technical pieces.
It's in the workshop for a full overhaul, a time-consuming & therefore expensive job, but worth doing on a good quality instrument.
And it keeps me in beer vouchers too! Hooray!
