Sundowners by Lake Menteith

2 castles 'bagged' today, Stirling and Castle Campbell. The latter was in a stunning location. Certainly out favourite so far.

We bought Historic Scotland explorer tickets on Sunday at Doune on Sunday so that we could get the benefit from visiting the castles and I have to say it is well worth it. It will certainly help when we visit Edinburgh on Thursday.

Thoroughly enjoyable day topped off with wine sundowners by the lake when we got back... whilst the weather has been intermittent tonights sunset has been lovely!
