Bye-bye Mummy

The best ambulance crew you could ever wish for. These guys were brilliant, putting mum and daughter at ease, joking and taking so much time with them both - magic guys - thank you guys for making a very hard time so much easier. We'll not forget you and the job you do.

For a few years in the 1990s a gang of us worked together at a hotel on Iona, got to know each other, became very close and eventually went our separate ways.
Those of us who were able to came back for this week - a reunion 5 years in the planning!

One of us broke an ankle badly and had to be airlifted (helicopter-ed) to hospital in Paisley, leaving young daughter with the rest of us for a couple of days.
Not exactly the reunion we had in mind.
We will just have to try again next year.
