Did she see this?

Today we remember that we are the subjects of Her Royal Highness Her Majesty, as I was later reminded by her wonderfulness, S. Well not really paying HM any attention at all. We just have a public holiday. Given that many people work in jobs that don't recognise either weekends or public holidays with time off, for many it means extra pay (holiday rates).

Yesterday we drove north for an evening with my lovely S's mother and brothers, getting back quite late. So, ended up sleeping late, and woke to thick fog. Decided on a midday run so I could get the sun. Fat chance. The fog didn't fully lift until about midday, and the sky was all overcast. Still, it was almost windless and was certainly dry.

This young woman was also out for exercise, and walked very determinedly along past me, and past this wall. She appeared very focussed on getting one foot in front of the other; I saw nothing to suggest that she gave the wall even a first glance.

After first photographing this wall as a potential blip at the end of March, it was time for me to put aside other pictures from today, and this young woman's vigour made the choice for me.
