Soaring

These are two of the three spires of the Air Force Memorial in Washington, D.C., soaring to 270 ft above the ground. The Memorial (full size here) is meant to evoke flight, both bold and graceful and I think it does this well.

The number three has special meaning for the Air Force, representing its three core values: integrity, service before self, and excellence.
