He starts a new job tomorrow, after his 7 months of free time.

I imagine it will be difficult to settle into a structure routine that doesn't involve lots of dog walks, gym visits and coffee and chit chat.

I'm sure he'll cope. (tee hee!)
Although I expect he'll be a little bit tired tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow morning he's the early train to Glasgow to pick up his car and then off to Newcastle on Tuesday.

No rest for the wicked Mr G!
