Sunday Drive

Living in the Finger Lakes of New York, we often see these on the country roads. There are several Amish and Mennonite communities located here.

We are currently visiting in Penn Yan, New York, situated on Keuka Lake. As we picked up some takeout Chinese, this rig was parked in a lot across the street. The horse was looking a bit antsy, and I don't blame him...it is pretty warm out today!

As I looked at the photo, I tried it in black and white as well as color, but found the sepia best suited. It almost draws one back a hundred years in time.....
