Picnic Spot

We stopped for a small picnic at this spot on our walk in the Eifel on Saturday.

The route was about 7km and took us through forests and fields, with some lovely views of the countryside and the medieval town of Kronenburg. The paths we excellent and easy to find, the weather was beautiful and it was a holiday weekend.

In the four or so hours we were out walking, we saw six other people. For the middle 2 or 3 hours, no-one at all. Brilliant!
