Red Damselfly on Broom

We walked along the Caledonian Canal from Dockgarroch Lock to the Tomnahurich swing bridge in Inverness and then back along the opposite bank this afternoon. Sunnyand breezy on the way there, dull and breezy on the way back but a very enjoyable walk if you ever get the chance. I took the Damselfly photo on the outward leg and didn't have time to change to the macro lens, but it isn't too bad considering the broom was blowing around.
