Whatever will be
At the garden centre I chanced over that part which is set aside for classical sculptures. Nice. No gnomes or stone frogs here. Further over there were dogs of a vaguely ancient Egyptian bent, as well as a few Chinese mandarins. The new patio in the pensioner backyard could benefit from some of this stuff. I'm not sure whether a big shouty beardy face or a bare erse would be more appropriate however.
Later, out to see Maw who had taken another tumble: this time, in the greenhouse. As she said, she was lucky that she narrowly avoided the tomato plants. "Some people are fallers", she said with calm resignation. How long before she has one that ends end her mobility and independence? Still, it hasn't happened yet, and there's no point in fretting. Que sera sera and all that.
