The Positive Side
Another lazy day, unlike yesterday though, today without children:)
Woke up a bit later than usual, had a nice breakfast (well I kept on telling myself it was!) on the sofa, then tidied, cleaned and sorted the freezer into 'non gluten foods', and 'gluten foods'.
Now I know I can't go into the top drawer until I get a diagnosis. (Hopefully this week.) This way it is easier and I don't get dissappointed every time I go into the freezer.
Next stop the supermarket.
Now I have food for every night that I will enjoy - I have made a menu for each day and every day I have made sure I have something to look forward to. All gluten free of course.
As a treat to myself I have made Gluten free fairy cakes(I am not getting sucked into the word cupcake!!). I have just sat down with a coffee and had one ........and they are yummy, so light , I may just have to have another one!
Positive thinking is the way to go.......
The only downside today is I have to go the airport later on tonight to pick Mum up. Oh well good things can't last forever:)
Half way through the week when I am having a 'I hate this' moment I must remember to come back to this entry.
