An empty trough

Today it has been very hot and sunny and I was looking forward to wallowing in this trough. I'd walked a long way and I was very hot and thirsty and I needed to cool down. I'm always allowed in this trough because it has lovely clean water in it. Today though it was practically empty and there was only muddy dregs at the bottom so I wasn't even able to have a drink.
