worst night ever

This is Michael trying to cheer me up. Tonight we were very very busy. My boss put in a wrong order and I had to re-cook 2 dishes quickly. Because of that the tables after had to wait longer. 1 of the tables had 2 pies on the order and after the people said that it was horrible. My boss came into the kitchen and said 2 people were complaining and said 'come, come' I thought he wanted to talk to me in the corridor. So he pulled me off the stove while I was still cooking, next thing I know I'm in front of 2 customers laying in to me about how horrible their meal was. I just lost it. Walked off, got changed and left the building. I have never felt so humiliated in my life. I did go back after 5 minutes and finished the service.
I understand that the people had a horrible meal and that is in turn horrible for me because I want everyone to be happy. My boss should never have done that and he should have prepared me and given me a couple of minutes to get my head around it so I could talk to them. He said that they always tell me when people say it is nice and he thought I should hear it direct from customers that the meal was no good (in the middle of cooking on a hot busy busy night). we get about 1 complaint a year. It was because he made a mistake in the first place. So he now is a total **nt in my opinion and as soon as I can I will leave. I cannot work for an idiot like that anymore.
I did hand in my notice there and then but later he appologised to me after I first had to point out that he humiliated me as he wasnt even aware. Anyway, not good and I am totally fed up now. Anyone got a job for me?
