One of the most famous views of Ireland
Well that's what the restaurant sandwich board says. Ya got the wall-divided fields, the sheep, the islands, the sea, the cute houses. I think those are the Skelligs out there (the islands, famous for wildlife like puffins - we have puffins in Newfoundland too, but I've never seen one). Shot from the side of the road just west of Derrynane, on the [in]famous Ring of Kerry, A 100-odd km drive through iconic Irish countryside.
It's nice, but I have to say the Sheep's Head peninsula yesterday was pretty nice too.
Tomorrow, Dingle, for the music. Unfortunately it's been "found" and on this bank holiday weekend it was almost impossible to find a B&B to stay. Finally did though (for tomorrow night).
