I look at the 'Godzilla' baby blackbirds & think, aww, you're all finally growing up, you're all becoming independent, you're all growing your adult plumage, losing your baby fluff & your beak gape, soon you'll be gone to set up your own territories & to find a mate for next years season... well, how wrong can I be? This particular Godzilla can feed for itself, but it's ever doting parent - the Dad in fact (the mum snaps at it with her beak & physically attacks it) still feeds it... is he loving or just simply mad?! Whatever, it's impressive, go Dad's!!!! :)
