Ness Islands

I went for a walk along the River Ness with the aim of getting a good Blip. I took about 100 photos and I really struggled to pick just one out.

In the end I decided on this one of a small section of the River Ness flowing alongside Ness Islands.

I've been trying to do this kind of shot for ages now but normally don't have the time to spend 10-15mins setting it up. Today I had that luxury and I'm glad I took some time over it. The camera was on manual and I'm very pleased with myself that I now know enough to be able to set up a shot just how I want it!

I was also tempted by this one of a fishermanwith Inverness Castle in the background. Or, this one overlooking the river.
