A lone leaf from last summer dangles near the end of a branch swaying beneath the willow in our courtyard. I don't trust my ability to focus manually anymore, but because it was rather breezy and the willow branches were in perpetual motion, I had little choice but to focus and wait for it to come back into view.

I also decided to stop down from 1.4 to 3.5 so that the upper parts of the tree would show up better. At 1.4, it almost appears like the leaf is appearing from out of nowhere.
