Anemone Pulsatilla seedhead!

Yesterday's mini heatwave is over! Quite a nice day today, but spoiled by an East wind!

Ros and Chloe went to Carlisle, while I got on with marking a QTS folder...( takes about 5 hours! )

In the afternoon we took Chloe to the beach...got loads of the usual blips of Chloe in the water, but Ros liked this seedhead the best. It is in our garden, and I took it this morning when I needed a short break from the marking!

3 weeks 'till the wedding! Will the weather be stormy like Monday? A heatwave like yesterday?? or a reasonable day like today but spoiled by a cool wind???

Perhaps we'll get that promised High Pressure from the Azores!
