The Race for Life (supporting Cancer Charities) is a great organisation - and Mrs Gardener has now run it lots of years. Its a fantastic - upbeat - glorious - heart-breaking event. She vetoed the pictures of her so this had to stand in.

The winner who finished in 22 mins looked about 15 and on her back she had a single word - 'mummy'. Not ashamed to say I cried.
