OLE!!!

I visited the Wateau Exhibition at the Royal Academy yesterday, and then took my camera for a walk around Covent Garden.

I came back with too many choices, but this one has to be my "Pick of the Day'.

It shows the exuberant musicians celebrating the last chord of the reprise of their finale, which was "The Toreador Song" from Carmen - played allegrissimo (if that's a valid musical term)

I have to apologise to the lady violinist in black at the back, but the lead fiddler's enthusiastic leap has obscured her...

...and yes, that is an orange diver's suit behind them. Don't ask.
