Castlerigg and Blencathra

I was an early riser again this morning and so I took a trip back to Castlerigg Stone Circle. As opposed to the last time I went there a week after joining blip I arrived with a bit more confidence.

There was one other photographer there and I breezed over to him and said good morning and told him where I wanted to be to get my shot. I apologised in advance if I got in his way and told him just to tell me to move. He had so much kit it was phenomenal! I had to laugh though as 4 campers in sleeping bags were asleep in the middle of the circle and were ruining the shot he wanted to capture. He seemed to be waiting for them to move (I think he had a long wait on his hands, they were out for the count).

As his shot was ruined anyway I took a few shots of what I wanted, silently cursing to myself for leaving the ND filter I wanted on my other lens. I managed to hide the campers behind one of the stones, and then I was on my way. I was back home in bed for 5.30am!
