No plane to catch

I love airports (but I hate the flying) and luckily I can spend many hours in them due to all the delays we have in China. Today I had my flight back to Shanghai and naturally we had our delay.

According to the official statistics China has a more than 85% on time score, which we never believed until we fond out what they count as being on time. Here they do not use the arrival or the departure time but the time the door of the aircraft closes, and with that you could end up waiting for hours in the aircraft.

So I guess today was my lucky day as no plane at the gate and we had to wait for 3 hours in the terminal.
