Sorry Boys!

The boys had most of the day at school and it gave me the chance to do some last minute packing. Then we collected the boys from school and set off on the train to the airport.

Arrived at the airport, all excited, and checked for our flight on the board....it wasn't there. Got the documentation out to check and realised that the flight had been the day before! This was entirely my fault. I just thought our holiday started on the 18th so we would fly on the 18th....no, we should have been there yesterday! My heart dropped. The boys were pretty good under the circumstances. Graham was quiet....this is a guy who can talk a glass eye to sleep so the silence was bad, VERY BAD!!!

What can I say? I cannot express how foolish I felt. I felt bad for letting everyone down. We had to arrange transfers and will set off for the hols tomorrow.

This is Rowan on the train home....no doubt dreaming of a turquoise sea!!
