I couldn't understand why the swallows kept whizzing in and out of the suncurvatory - were they after the water, or the flies perhaps? Eventually I realised they were trying to build a nest in there. I had to close the door to stop them. apart from not wanting a room full of guano, it's too hot for them - they would have baked their poor chicks!
