Welcome To My World

Oriental Poppy in the garden provided the opportunity for this shot using the Super Macro feature on my camera.

I was looking at the shadows being cast on the petals and the clarity of the image is very pleasing.

Poppies are my all time favourite plant and the front garden this year has been taken over by them - no lawn at all thanks to blooming ants but out of disaster comes a garden of poppies so I am more than happy.

What do the neighbours think? None have been brave enough to come and tell me!!! Unique in the village we are!!
