Friday Distortion

A massive unauthourised anual (12th) party is going on in our neighbourhood tonight. It's called "Distortion"

It covers 5 areas of the city in five days, friday night is our turn. This is part of our street and there are thousand of people occupying every available spot to sit, lie, stand or dance. There are over 30 mini venues from DJs to live bands, just set up on the street, pavements.....anywhere. This is outside a laundrette.

I couldn't get a shot that captured it all except this one that just apealed to me for the multiple stories you can see. The original is depressingly uninteresting so I spiced it up a little but I hope I havn't strayed too far from the idea of why I took the shot - the atmosphere is fantastic.
