A lovely, sandy, sunny beach

Looks can be deceptive! It was bitter! Ollie dog was in the sea of course, he just heads straight out into it, but even he didn't linger! I had gloves, hat, 2 pairs of socks etc on but still the wind had a real icy edge that cut through you. We had the beach to ourselves and once we'd gone down below the dunes it was a bit more sheltered and I hunted for nice shells and stones to clutter up the windowsills with!

Had this afternoon off work because I have to work all day Friday, so having such sunny dry weather was a bonus.

On the hen front, they are now laying 7 eggs a day, so friends and neighbours are all getting them - except Northern, who of course has her own layers! Suggested she come down to the beach with Ollie and I this afternoon, but she was snowed under with work. Shame, she could have tested her nose on stinky wet dog!
