journey in time by Myk Briggs

Red balloons are all over our town to guide us to exhibitions by local artists... the BorderlandVisual Arts Open Studios event is this month.

Work of local artists all over town can be viewed, and bought.....

This morning we popped in at Willow Street Gallery where I specifically wanted to see a 100 foot long photograph resembling an oversized roll of 35mm film that records 48 name and date plaques from 1407 to 2008. I is displayed hanging, beautifully curved, along the ceiling of the Gallery
It's a project by Myk Briggs that took him 4 monthe to complete.....and it is absolutely stunning..... my blip does not do it justice at all, it's only a 'blip' after all...

All these can be found within 1500m of the Gallery...
By identifying each street, or path each plaque can be found under 18's have a chance of winning a competition....pity I.m 19....:):) but I might still have a crack at trying to find them....and maybe blip a few as well...
