Wild Grounds

Sorry not enough time to source a better picture. Considering I have no power in my normal camera, my small personal camera is broken in need to being exchanged and I left my iphone at home, I didn't think I would blip today. That changed when I realised my work phone has a pretty good build in camera and I could email the picture to my work account and load that way. Win.

Weather is lovely today so we went on a trek into the wild region of the grounds at one of my offices as we had been told we had Japanese knotweed which is classed as an invasive species. As we maintain this ground, I now need to organise its removal. Sadly we trekked into it and down to the burn, but due to storm damage to the trees and other growth, we couldn?t get to where it had been spotted.

Snapped this with my phone. Would have obviously preferred to get the picture of the knotwood, but this tree will have to do. It was one of the only ones that hadn?t been damaged.
