You can't keep kids awake

Kids have been playing in the garden all day. Got them inside for a while as it's really hot out. Took the blanket and dummy off my little one in a bid to keep him awake (otherwise he won't sleep till late tonight). Went to the toilet and came back to find him crashed out on the floor in the living room. Not such a great plan after all. Hmmm.
