Wallace Tower
On Ayr High Street, stands 115ft tall and was built in honour of William Wallace of whom there is a statue on the front. Reconstructed in 1832 (possibly on the site where Wallace's father once lived) It was either that or rebuilt as a monument, after he was imprisoned in the previous tower.
Bladdy Internet, fountain of info a lot of which is nonsense.
Realised yesterday was my 100th consecutive blip, had a few gaps at first, so that's pretty cool.
Scorcher of a day, actually had trouble as my camera only has an LCD screen no proper viewfinder so seeing what i was taking in bright sun light was a pain.
I will blip a better shot of this tower with statue, another day as the town was hoachin' didn't fancy stopping to take a photo in the crowd. :~)
