Blue Skies for Scotland

Stopped off in Holyrood park on the way into work this glorious morning. A perfect blue sky without a cloud in sight.

Can the same be said for Scotland's ambitions for independence? I couldn't resist a shot of the Scottish Parliament building. A building that itself has caused so much controversy over the years.

To be honest though, I really disliked this building at first and over the years it has grown on me. It feels like it is starting to belong and I never felt I would say that about this building.

Thanks to everyone who had kind words for yesterday's shot. I really enjoyed capturing it and it has spurred me on to try to improve my photography skills.
