Edison Avenue

Strange how the word avenue conjures leafy suburbs in Middle England but in America it is the name of a down-at-heel street in the dingy Brooklyn area of Jacksonville.

From a photographic point of view, I much prefer the latter.

This shot was destined to be in colour right from the get-go.

Thinks -- I must be feeling ill. LOL

A little post processing in Photoshop CS3 gives it a certain je ne sais quoi. :-)
