View over the City of Glasgow, Scotland
- Backblip -
My friends flew in from overseas today, and this evening we were invited for dinner, and to enjoy this rooftop view over to the south of the city. For those who follow my journal, this is the special blip location I mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
Here you can see the Clyde Arc bridge built in 2006 (also known as the Squinty Bridge) and the Finnieston Crane which was erected in 1931 to load locomotives onto ships for export. The Windfarm can be seen in the distance. Interesting to contrast the new and the old along the riverside here.
