Man still not feeling good. Nasty febrile stuff going on. Glad I haven't got it... and hope I don't get it.

Made bread this afternoon. Needless to say I changed the recipe a bit... not very good at following things as they are written. Honey was substituted with lemon and honey marmalade. First thought was that the sugar in the jam would activate the yeast. Realised I had messed up as soon as I added it to the mix. Off course the acid in the lemons was going to act as an inhibitor... duh! I added a bit extra sugar and let it prove for ages and it was OK. Nice taste, naff texture. Worth trying again, but getting the yeast to work properly next time.

Why the image? Well, we watched the X Men in preparation for the next movie that's coming out next week. Still got to take a peek at Nightcrawler and Wolverine then we're all set. How geeky is that!
